✿ Parks and Gardens ✿
Despite being an urban destination, Barcelona offers many green spaces where you can go for a walk, take a pet, read a book under the shade of a tree, or sunbathe. With over 90 parks and gardens, Barcelona is a proud city that provides plenty of green sites and uses every opportunity to transform spaces with nature for some fresh air, even including the inner courtyards of city blocks.
At most of these places the parks also have a high artistic, cultural, and historical value , as is the case of Park Güell and Parc del Laberint d'Horta for example. Depending on their characteristics, the parks are classified as historical, thematic, urban, and forestry. Each type serves a purpose and, therefore depending on this, visitors can expect different equipment and services. Discover them all here!
