Eixample is home to most of Gaudí's buildings. Renting a holiday apartment in Barcelona near the famous monuments of the brilliant Catalan architect is of particular interest to visitors to the city because many of them come to Barcelona to see Gaudí's works such as Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, or Casa Batlló.
Eixample also boasts some of the most famous avenues of Barcelona; for example, Paseo de Gracia, Rambla Catalunya, and Avenida Diagonal. These streets feature outstanding architectural monuments, but also many small and large shops, bars, restaurants, and nightclubs.
