We liked: walking through the city, the concert in the Palace of Catalan Music, a helicopter ride and walk on the sea, to be photographed, trying restaurants in Barceloneta, the Boquería market shopping, dancing at nightclubs, a trip on the funicular, a visit to the Aquarium and the antique market. You can also leave from Barcelona (in Sitges and Girona are excellent). My friends also are advised to visit the mountain of Montserrat.

To find nice places, asked as and in the shops... and this, it is a question of feeling, style... We took the 'imperial bus' formula 2 days (1 day too): it is very convenient, there are 3 circuits, it runs at will, climb, down when you want to. A day benchmark, then with the metro, super easy: lines of color! Warning: the aquarium when we saw others, it is not terrible! The zoo can take one day, but the animals are not very smiley.

1. to determine the quality of the cuisine of the restaurant, enough to look in the toilet. If everything is clean and well cared for, the serious masters approach their work. And the quality of the food will be good. 2. in very developed network of subway, between 10-15 minutes on foot. Much more interesting, more convenient and cheaper to travel on it than on tourist buses.
