SERVICE CONDITIONS.

  1. Best prices guaranteed or we will refund you twice the difference.

    OK Apartment Limited, owner of www.barcelonacheckin.com, will refund its customers twice the difference in price between that advertised on our web and the price seen on another website as long as the following conditions are met:

    1. The customer must have made a booking on our website
    2. The complaint must be made within 24 hours of making the booking through this website, and must contain the following information: booking reference code, check in date, name of other website and the advertised price.
    3. OK Apartment must be able to verify that the price in question is available and that it can be booked online.
    4. Complaints must be based on comparison of the same apartment for the same number of persons.
    5. The amount of the refund is limited to the value of the booking fee paid to OK Apartment.

    Once these conditions have been met, OK Apartment will respond in less than 24 hours. Half the amount to be refunded will be deducted from payment when the apartment keys are handed over. The other half will be paid to the customer on the day the complaint was raised.

  2. Cleaning

    All apartments are left in good condition and are equipped with clean towels and bedding for the number of persons listed on the booking.

  3. Amenities Cost.

    There is no extra charge for supplies (gas, electricity, water). All taxes and commission are included in the price.

  4. Check in and check out.

    Check in must be done from 15:00 onwards and check out before 11:00. In some cases these hours can be modified, but ONLY if previous and following bookings allow. All lodgings allow check in from 20:00, however this may incur an extra charge. For more information, go to the “check in and check out” section.

  5. Security deposit.

    The deposit is paid as a guarantee against possible damage that might occur in the apartment during your stay. OK Apartment does not receive nor return any deposit. The deposit is handed over by the customer directly to the proprietor, who will return it at the end of the stay if there is no damage. Our company is not responsible for the loss of any deposit, nor any dispute over its return. In the case that the proprietor deducts a part or the total deposit, OK Apartment will ask him/her to provide a written résumé about the damages caused, justifying the deduction.

  6. Booking.

    Booking are active once confirmation has been received of payment by bank transfer (NO immediate confirmation ) or by credit card (immediate confirmation) of 23% of the total cost of the stay. The remaining balance is paid in cash on the day of arrival. The customer will receive a booking confirmation email with the exact lodging address, contact person details, interactive location map and summary of the payment details. Customers must check all the information sent and notify OK Apartment of any possible amendments within three days. Lack of notification during this period implies unreserved acceptance of the booking made by the customer.

  7. Changes and cancellations.

    Clients can use our contact form to make any required changes to their booking: number of people, dates of stay, type of accommodation booked, destination etc. Subject to availability, Ok Apartment applies standard tariffs and will arrange a new reservation without extra charge for any changes made. Ok Apartment reserves the right to cancel a reservation if they are not notified about any changes before the date of arrival. If a tenant does not arrive on the agreed arrival date without prior notification to Ok Apartment, the reservation is considered cancelled.
    Clients can use the contact form to cancel their booking. In the event of a cancellation clients will forfeit their booking fee, irrespective of personal circumstances leading to the cancellation. If a client does not arrive on the agreed arrival date, or if a cancellation is made on the same day, they will be charged 50% of the total cost of the stay. We recommend that clients arrange travel insurance to cover this cost in the event of cancellation.
    If Ok Apartment needs to modify the reservation, we will reimburse the client the booking fee or will arrange a similar apartment for the same price whenever possible.

  8. House Rules.

    The client commits to respect the rules that pertain to the apartment and the community it belongs to. It is very important to respect neighbours who get up early to work, which is why it is forbidden to use the apartment for parties. The hours of rest to be respected are 11pm - 9am. Should the house rules not be followed, BarcelonaCheckIn has the right to expel the client without any compensation.

  9. Number of occupants.

    The number of persons lodged is that recorded on the booking made by the customer. The customer is required to communicate any change through the form on our website, before arrival at the lodging. In the case that rules are not respected, OK Apartment reserves the right to ask the customer to leave without any compensation.

  10. Complaints

    In case of any complaint about the lodging, you must inform the proprietor immediately. If the problem is not resolved you must inform our company through the contact form on this website. Only complaints received before ending your stay will be considered. OK Apartment will try to resolve the complaint amicably, but will not be responsible in any way for any possible damage or problem beyond its control. If the customer leaves the apartment without notifying OK Apartment, he/she will lose the right to claim from our company.

  11. Responsibility.

    OK Apartment will not be held responsible for damages, direct or indirect, that could occur as a consequence of use of the apartment by the customer, including without limitation any kind of damage or losses due to fire, burglary or criminal behaviour. OK Apartment acts only as an intermediary between the customer and the apartment proprietor.

  12. Our Website.

    All descriptions and information shown on this website are provided by the owners of the apartments and are checked by OK Apartment. Our company continuously updates its website content, but is not responsible for any error or omission that could occur on the part of the proprietor.

  13. Online payment security.

    Our company DOES NOT have access to clients' credit card numbers. Customers pay directly through the Banco Popular Español or Paypal websites. This is the maximum security guarantee we can offer to our customers, as these companies use the lastest security measures in electronic data transactions.

  14. Privacy Policy.

    OK Apartment Limited treats confidentially all its clients' personal data, in agreement with Directive 95/46/CE of the European Parliament on personal data protection and transmission. We do not send any offers or information to our customers without their permission.
