After the success of its first edition, CosmoBeauty returns to Barcelona on6,7,8 april 2019. It’s the Spanish event entirely dedicated to the beauty industry: beauty, hairdressing and wellbeing. It is one of the biggest exhibitions of this type in Europe.

In this new edition, the event takes place again in pavilion 2 of Fira Barcelona – Gran Via where other famous exhibitions have taken place, such as the Mobile World Congress, the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, etc.
History of the Event
In 2017 the CosmoBeauty adventure started but the history of the event started long before then. This event began as a result of the strategic union of two beauty events which took place in Barcelona for years. In 2017, Cosmobelleza and STS Beauty decided to stop operating separately and join forces to develop a large international beauty event.
The first edition of the CosmoBeauty event was born and had great success. The event brought main brands and the best professionals in the beauty industry together, not only at national level but also at international level. In total, more than 50,000 professionals and 1,100 brands participate. Around 350 exhibitors set up in pavilion 2 in the Fira de Barcelona with more than 10,000 m2 of exposition space.
Barcelona was chosen to organise this event in response to the fact that the city occupies a very prominent in the ranking of European cities that receive more participants in congresses and exhibitions.
The 2019 edition
This is the first big event to take place in Barcelona in 2019. CosmoBeauty aims to be on a par with the 2018 edition. In the program, there are presentations, performances, conferences, master classes and catwalks. There is an educational aspect to the event as the best professionals in the industry share their knowledge with newcomers to the sector. We will find brands such as Dyson, Essie, Ergoline, Gelish, Nyx, Peggy Sage.
The exhibition is divided into two main parts:
- Hairdresser, barber, nails and make-up.
- Aesthetics, medicine and everything related to a healthy lifestyle.

1. Hairdresser
The best hairdressers in the world come to present the latest trends in colouring, drying and haircuts. A golden opportunity for apprentices who want to receive valuable advice from the best professionals in the field.

The novelty of 2018 edition is the area reserved for beard care. The popularity of this sector is due to the hipsters, who have managed to make the beard trendy again. For this reason, barbers also have a place in CosmoBeauty.
