Holiday apartments close to central barcelona
The areas that cannot be considered central have their own touristic interest and offer good transportation that allows getting to the center in less than 15 minutes.
We suggest our customers to bear in mind 2 important aspects before booking an apartment.
I. KNOWING THE AREA.It is important to know the details of the areas where you will be lodged.
The areas we cannot consider central are :
- Sant Martí, where most beaches of the city are . There we will find the Puerto Olímpico and the Villa Olímpica (Olympic Games of 1992) and the Forum (Forum of cultures 2004). Sant Martí was one the most important Spanish industrial area of the XIXth century but during the last decade this one experienced a strong urban and economic change.
- Sant- les Corts, well communicated area where can be visited the Pedralbes Monastery , Football museum and the famous Camp Nou stadium of the F.C.Barcelona. It is the best airport linked area of the city.
- Gracia-Sant Gervasi, genuine areas very well communicated where you can visit one of the nicer place of Barcelona: The Güell Park. One of the most impressive Gaudi’s project , declared World Artistic Heritage by the UNESCO, from where you can enjoy a good sight of the city.
- Horta-Sant Andreu, area with a wide range of urban spaces : tight pedestrians streets in the old area of Horta , XIX th century classy country house , hills with wonderful view over the city as the Parque del Laberinto with its romantic gardens and it vegetal labyrinth at human scale.
II.CONSIDERING THE VALUE FOR MONEY.Apartments that are not situated in the city center have usually similar qualities and cheaper prices. The excellent transportation will allow you to get to Barcelona center quickly. The rent of an apartments in these areas represents an economic option to traditional hotel.
The rent price is determinated by several factors :
- The duration of th stay
- The capacity/occupation of the booking.
- The apartment comfort
- The exact location.
